Make no mistake about it. The Church is in conflict with secularist authorities, and the basic issue is one of sovereignty....Most Christians, even pastors, do not recognize that we are locked in a conflict with government out of control and one will be a victim- the other, the victor. I choose to be with the victors....Romans 8:37"..We are more than conquerors through him that loved us." And what do we conquer? verse 35 speaks of tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril and sword. Then V36 tells us that "...we are killed all the day long'. That can happen to those who are in a war. For those Christians who believe that the state is sovereign over the church, there is no conflict, and no chance of being "killed all the day long." Just one potluck supper after another."

Pastor Slattery, "The Church Whoring Around"
The rebellious son and the whorish wife are the same, they both seek another man so to speak. They both are willing to surrender their birthright and their family heritage for worldly respect, awards and convenience. They are willing to abandon both a loving father and a devoted husband. They seek not a mansion on a hilltop, but rather John Bunyan's town of Vanity Fair. They are Pliable sinking in the Slough of Despond. The Church Inc, (like the whorish woman and the rebellious child) who has sought the world has found the world. She has sought another King and one has been found.

The Death of a Church...Frank Ellerker
A Sovereign Church which requests that the state bring it into existance as a tax exempt, not for profit, religious business, is engaged in open rebellion. It seeks to serve two masters, Two sovereigns, and Two creators at the same time. It is a Double Minded Church. A double headed 'anything' is a freek of nature, an enigma, a monstrosity."

John Bunyan (1628-1688) Christ a Complete Saviour
"Read and read again, and do not despair of help to understand the will and mind of God though you think they are fast locked up from you. Neither trouble your heads though you have not commentaries and exposition. Pray and read, read and pray; for a little from God is better than a great deal from men. Also, what is from men is uncertain, and is often lost and tumbled over by men; but what is from God is fixed as a nail in a sure place. There is nothing that so abides with us as what we receive from God; and the reason why the Christians in this day are at such a loss as to some things is that they are contented with what comes from men's mouths, without searching and kneeling before God to know of Him the truth of things. Things we receive at God's hands come to us as truths from the minting house, though old in themselves, yet new to us. Old truths are always new to us if they come with the smell of Heaven upon them."

1st Peter 4:17 ....... PREACHED!
The professing Christian today has been brought into a false sense of security, he thinks that repeating a prayer is the same as repenting from sin, He has no concept of sanctification, separation or the compelling need for soul winning.
He Looks like the world , acts like the world and in almost all aspects can not be distinguished from the world in anyway whatsoever, save possibly that he sits and listens for 15 minutes a week in a house called a house of Worship.
Who is to Blame?
Pastor are you Listening?
1Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:
and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the
gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the
ungodly and the sinner appear?

Never Never NEVER!
The noose adjusted; the sheriff took out his watch and said
The young man spoke
"If you have anything to say Speak now; as you have but 5 minutes more to live"
I have to die! I had only one little brother. He had beautiful eyes and flaxon hair. How I loved him! I got drunk- the first time. I found my little brother gathering strawberries. I got angry with him, without a cause; and killed him with a rake. I knew nothing about it till I awoke on the following day and found myself closely guarded. They told me when my little brother was found, his hair was clotted with his blood and brains. Whiskey had done it! It ruined me! I have only one more word to the young people before I go to stand in the presence of my judge. NEVER,NEVER-NEVER touch anything that can intoxicate!

Eternal Enemy of Booze _ William Ashland Sunday
Aug, 23-28
"I am a sworn, eternal, uncompromising enemy of the liguor triffic, I ask no quarter and I give none. I have drawn the sword in defence of God, home, wife, children and native land, and I will never sheath it until the undertaker pumps me full of embalming fluid.."
